My spring break is winding down...back to the classroom on Monday for me and back to school for my daughters.
We love our vacation time together but I think we all are ready to get into the routine for the remainder of the school year. This week I was able to get some longer "quiet times" in to my day, mainly due to not dealing with extracurricular activities, errands that could be done in the a.m.'s rather than after work, etc.
So....I have been reading about time and what things actually "steal our time". I plan on doing a post about some things that God has put on my heart to share about Time, Women, Children, the church, and our daily lives. Check back on Monday as it should be posted by then. I would love to hear your comments on this topic.
For today, scroll down to see my fave fives and feel free to participate! You can join us by going to Susanne's site and linking up. Or just leave me a comment and let me know what your fave thing from the last week has been.
AND....check out the latest post that e-mom has done. It is great. It is titled "The Garden of Your Daily Living". You can get to it by clicking here.
This was the cutest post I read all week. You will enjoy it, too!
Thoughts for the weekend:
Serve in your church
Eliminate stuff you no longer need
Learn to say NO
to things/people that deplete you
Get out in the Sun and Spend time with the Son
PLAY with your children
TALK with your Teen
Hug your Husband
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replenish
Take a Walk. Alone. Pray & Meditate
ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

thanks faith. i have 3 words that seem to sit over my head from the LORD. Simplify is one of them. I esp like the learn to say NO line of yours. Hearing that today! I think i'm getting good at that...and then wham something happens and i realise i have a long way to go :( I'm reading a book from Joyce Meyer now called 100 ways to simplify your life. Up to no.16, yes I have a long way to go!
OH! I need to evaluate where I've been wasting time! I know exactly where! I am so into Hatchlings at FB!!!! I love to find those limited eggs and feed my own cute little Hatchlings and all my friends that look like theirs need to be fed. I know, its a time waster. arrrrrr!
I am doing my daily requirements though. I just like to sneak in my Hatchlings. (They need love too.) ha
Well thanks for using the following thingy, it makes things faster for me!
HUGs
First off, I just want to say I looove the flower of the tulips! What is it about tulips in a silver bucket that is so appealing?
The learn to say no part is a big one for me that took me a long time to learn.
That's an absolutely gorgeous photo of tulips in a bucket...
Trying to "eliminate stuff we no longer need" on Craigslist. What a great place to sell things!
Hey, thanks for the linky love, my friend. Have a wonderful weekend enjoying the sun/Son. :~D
I tagged you on my blog. Hope this is okay. Come by and check it out.
