finding God's treasures on a hot summer Sunday morn....a gentle hot breeze blowing through the cherry trees....daughters laughing over breakfast...early morning church and reflecting on these blessings...thousands of gifts He gives......

- the eldest daughter turning the milestone of 18 years some days ago.....watching her, loving how her hair streams across her shoulders, lips parted in pride, confidence in her stride...learning to live fully so she can fully live and give.....

- friendships formed in Christ....prayers lifted up for friendships broken....for hearts that are mending amidst sadness and confusion...for love of Christ that permeates even when ignored and unacknowledged....prayers for misunderstandings, rejection, and hope that still endures even while being deferred.....a healed heart that aches to help a hurting heart....and the person attached to the hurting heart....and longing to be reunited in friendship...even with the distance...even with the hurt...knowing that Christ can wipe it clean and new.......He allows 2nd chances.....praying for that person who won't offer a 2nd chance....ever hoping she will....knowing we are united...and praying still........
