This book was a delight!
Especially if you like that comedienne of all comediennes, Betty White.
I first watched her in the old Mary Tyler Moore show and LOVED her. I liked her even better in that comedy from the 1980's about the 3 old ladies.....THE GOLDEN GIRLS! That was one of my absolute fave television shows.
This book was loads of fun, easy to read, and had many photos from her younger days as well as the present. I loved reading all the cap
tions and seeing her with so many great actors and actresses and other Hollywood stars.
Her writing is simple, down-to-earth and refreshing. She tells it like it is!
I felt like I was having a conversation with her and that she was sitting right next to me telling me about her life.
I LOVE that she is a nature buff and that she also works for animal welfare.
This book is basically a memoir, written by Betty.
She takes about the unglamorous reality of the red-carpet affairs. She talks about her beauty regimen and she shares her observations about celebrity life, her "real" life, and love (for people and animals). This book is very funny and right to the point......just like her self!
In my opinion this book is appropriate for ages 13 and older.
On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest, I rate this a 10!

I would love to read this book. She has always reminded me a bit of my mom and I just love her smile. It's going on my list.
