Praise Post #10

I'm  joining Jerralea's Journey blog as we number gifts He's given us during the month of November.  Each day I'll be sharing five things that I am thankful for.  Doing that for 30 days will produce 150 things we are grateful for...and it's easy to find those gifts if we take a moment to look.  You are welcome to join in!  Just head over to Jeri's!

  1. Mild, sunny temperatures.  Today is one of those....only a thick sweater needed outdoors. Love it...and super thankful for this day!
  2. Crunching leaves.  The kindergarten children had a blast kicking their way through the crunchy leaves on the way to the playground today at recess.  It was contagious.....we all kicked the leaves! Thankful for a fun day at work.
  3. Easy, quick dinners.  Monday is the day that Claire has an early ballet class. and after that 5:30 class she has another ballet class from 6:30 until 8 pm! (I either work out or do the grocery shopping while she is in class) We have to leave the house by 5:15 so we eat dinner at 4:30 and I have to keep it hot for my husband who doesn't get home until close to 6. I love doing easy dinners on Mondays.....today is pasta and meatballs/sauce and tossed salad.  Super simple.
  4. Coupons.  I love coupons.  I'm thankful for them, especially the laundry and fabric softener ones....and I need both this week!
  5. Camel Bak.  I'm thankful for my camel bak.  I love drinking water all day (after my coffee, of course!).  I fill the camel bak with filtered water from our Brita and drink 1-2 of them per day......so much better for the environment and budget, too!  Claire uses one daily, too and refills it after school for her ballet classes.
What things are you thankful for today??

We had the same idea for our dinner menu today! We had the same thing because my husband had to have blood work done after work, and then had to leave right after dinner to keep a commitment he'd made to a friend. I happened to have meatballs already in the freezer, so I just opened a jar of my homemade/canned spaghetti sauce and simmered the meatballs in it for a while this afternoon...added the salad and we were good to go!

Now I am off to google Camel Bak. Glad you had a fun day at work today!

I usually make some kind of pasta dish on Mondays, too ...

I'm also a coupon user and a lover of mild sunny days.

I'm going to have to google Camel Bak, too. I am thinking it is some kind of water bottle?

I love coupons too. I look for the cleaning ones and for cat litter and cat food. I'm not familiar with a Camel Bac but I use a PUR water pitcher which is always full in my fridge. Have a blessed day.

Faith, I am always so late getting around! Mondays are hard because I am really busy at work.
Yesterday was 70 here and today it is 37 with drizzle! We got our leaves all picked up Sunday afternoon. They are quickly blowing off the trees and covering the yard again! We live in the woods (kinda).
I have a real hard time drinking enough water!
