Praise Post #13

I'm  joining Jerralea's Journey blog as we number gifts He's given us during the month of November.  Each day I'll be sharing five things that I am thankful for.  Doing that for 30 days will produce 150 things we are grateful for...and it's easy to find those gifts if we take a moment to look.  You are welcome to join in!  Just head over to Jeri's!

Today I am most thankful for:

  • My boss.  He let me leave the classroom halfway through the morning so I could let in the furnace guy cause we woke up to our heat running but cold air!!
  • New part available.  I am thankful that the furnace guy had the part we needed right in his truck.
  • Money to pay for above part.  Although the bill was large, it could be worse...we COULD be paying for a new furnace. Thankfully we just needed a new circuit board. I'm thankful I could just write a check.
  • My boss. Again.  I got back to the classroom in time to get the students out to recess and lunch with my other co-worker.  On the way to the faculty lounge for my own lunch an hour later, I was called on my cell by the high school nurse who said Claire was running a 100.4 fever and I had to pick her up!  So thankful the master teacher didn't mind me leaving again and actually told me to stay home with her so I did!!
  • Throat Coat Tea.  For Claire's sore throat.  It's marvelous.
What are you thankful for today??

I'm glad you could find positives in a day that some would complain about. When I have something break down, I always immediately pray that it won't be expensive and that it can be fixed quickly. Somehow it always works out!

What is Throat Coat Tea? Sounds like something I might need to know about this winter.

You must tell us what Throat Coat Tea is...praying for Claire to feel better. I have really enjoyed reading yours and everyone else(s) who participates in Praise Posts. Blessings
