What am I thankful for today; what really means alot to me right now, in this stage of my life? Here is my list.....what is yours?
- power of prayer: I could not get through some days with out the power of praying friends and the verse that reminds us to "pray without ceasing"
- my daughter Claire (age 8) who volunteered (with the promise of a little bit extra in her allowance!) to vacuum the dining room and kitchen the other nite...what a helper!
- for my friend Erin and her years of friendship, always willing to listen to me vent about my day....just like I listen to hers!
- for my crock-pot: the reality is: I need at least 2 days per week where dinner can be slowly cooking all day, ready to eat when we are ready!
- for the crisp autumn temps today and gorgeous azure sky
- for vanilla-scented candles
- for my sweet pea hand soap from Bath and Body Works.....a true hand washing experience!
- for the pizza delivery boy
- for my 14 year old daughter's life::redefined small group leader, willing to lead a group of freshmen as they study the Bible together and help each other "do life"
- for the Red Sox getting to the World Series!!
