I am most thankful today for my husband. Here is why:
he worked hard all day (he is a software specialist/director) and had the pressure of his annual review. He then skipped dinner to came to Halleluia Nite at our church, rode on a hay ride with our 8 year old daughter and me, fought the massive crowd of children, teens and parents to find our 14 year old daughter who was volunteering at this event with her peers from youth group, finally made his way to the area where the pizza was for sale (only $.50 per slice but cold by now as it was 6: 30 pm). He then helped me take Claire around to the different areas of fun activities including the two bouncity-bounces she insisted on getting in line for. He then taught her how to use a squirt gun (we have never had these toys in our home!) and "shoot" out the flames of various candles at one of the gaming booths. Then he sat through a presentation of a song from the musical she is in for xmas!
I thank the Lord for my wonderful, hard-working husband who makes every day a special day for his daughters.
To top it off: he stayed after the event was over to volunteer to clean up! He didn't get home until 9 pm. What a guy! He is my best friend, my lover, the father of my children, a helpmate in our marriage and......he had an awesome performance review with a much deserved raise!
Thank you Lord for blessing me with him!

Erin: LOL...he really is not always the "perfect" hubby....since of course none of us are perfect but boy, i think because it was a Grace Fellowship thing, he was motivated plus....he really still is a big kid! :)
I know that he isn't perfect but Dave has always just been such a good egg Faith.
You are blessed indeed. What a man! Hugs, e-Mom
What a lovely tribute to your hubby as a thankful post.
