A Spellbinding Book!

Wow....I just finished reading a novel debut by a new author I discovered at the library.
What a spellbinding book!
I could not put it down.....I read it in 3 days.....if I hadn't traveled up north this past weekend, I would have finished it in 1 day......it was that good!

Here's my review:

Genre: secular fiction
Setting:  California and the East Coast

Appropriate for ages 16 and older

Summary: A young man, married, and the father of one young son, feels like there is a "hole" in his life.  It gains courage to reconnect with a troubled past and learns that his parents have passed away.  While visiting their graves, he discovers his own grave!  Apparently, he died at age 3!!!

He begins to put together a very heartbreaking truth about his family.

This book shows readers the consequences of loss & tragedy...and the cost a child can pay for a parent's guilt.
The reader will empathize with each and every character.....I was drawn in to the story right away....it is a page-turner!!

A very emotional book.....get the kleenex ready!

From the book jacket:  "As he turned toward the third headstone, Justin's eyes were blurred with tears.  The stone was smaller and far more weathered than the other two.  It took him a moment before he could clearly see its inscription:  Thomas Justin Fisher
                  August 5-1972 - February 20, 1976
Justin had come in search of his father's grave.  And found his own."
