Treasures being Stored

In keeping up with my journal of finding one thousand treasures from God.....those gifts that are spoken of from this book....I am finding that this day...this beautiful, summer Sunday, is showing me treasures that need to be stored......

            .....stored in my heart....and in my mind....and yes, even on paper in my journal.....some (not all...too private to share!) of them stored here....to hopefully encourage someone else to find her own treasures...to store...to save...and bring out when needed......

Our Creator is showing me these things today.......

Conversation & encouragement of a friend......

as we share in our next step of bringing our oldest daughters to college.....

.....and other blessings He has shown me today.....

.........concern of friends about friendships gone estranged.....encouragement to persevere and keep loving, keep praying......

.....................and the astonishment that some one else "gets it"....the blessing of being united in Christ...the treasure of friends that have "been there, done that".....

....................the excitement of seeing someone who's loved.....and remembered....and missed......and the hope and prayers that are offered up....the treasure that He hears, and knows...and understands the outcome...the plan....and knows how to bring healing to a person's heart.........

.....the bliss of a lovely summer day with no obligations ahead....of enjoying family and friends.....

.....of Bible and books.......

.......of prayer and the power behind it.......

and storing them in the heart and memory for pulling out later........to treasure.....
