Scene: Cerulean blue sky with some puffy white/grey clouds, sun but cold!!
Today's plan: We attended the 5 pm church service last evening as my 15 year old had to serve as greeter for the junior high ministry so this morning the girls are sleeping in and Dave and I are up a little later than usual doing some reading, blogging, and relaxing. I'm going to help the 15 yr old bake Russian teacake cookies later for her Russian Club Tea Party this week and say good bye to our college girl as she heads back to Boston today.
Drinking: Green Mountain Nantucket Blend Coffee
Listening to: the wind snapping the flag off the front stoop
Currently reading: various NT Scriptures from the small group lesson for the week; the book of Lamentations, the novel Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier, the next chapter in The Shelter of God's Promises by Sheila Walsh, and the Adirondack Explorer magazine's latest issue. I've done a lot of reading this week and hope to do more in the evenings this upcoming week.
Blogging about: A book review, the Friday Fave Fives and coming up: thoughts the Lord showed me through praying for a relative...the power of words........
Participating in: Friday's Fave Five and now this Sunday Salon!I found out about this writing exercise from The Joyful Bookcase blog.
Have a wonderful Sabbath day!

Hi Faithe - I love this Sunday Salon - may have to join in one of these Sundays when I have a few minutes. Sounds like you are like me - I always have a book with me. God bless with Sunshine in Your Soul this week! Have a good one!
Sounds like a great Sunday at your place! and lots of great reading going on.
I missed Friday's Fave, it was a crazy, AMAZING, God filled week and I just didn't get time to get it done! I may have to double up on my faves this next Friday!
Thanks for mentioning my blog!
Sounds like a wonderful Sunday. I am so behind in writing my book reviews! I am now 3 behind. Yeesh. I've just had no blogging motivation lately. Maybe I should try this Sunday Salon and see if it primes the pump, so to speak, a bit.
Sounds like it was a great day!!
And I love Green Mountain coffee :)
