I'm joining Jerralea's Journey blog as we number gifts He's given us during the month of November. Each day I'll be sharing five things that I am thankful for. Doing that for 30 days will produce 150 things we are grateful for...and it's easy to find those gifts if we take a moment to look. You are welcome to join in! Just head over to Jeri's!
Today I am thankful for:
- Arriving safely at my in-laws home in Plymouth County, MA. We left our home last evening after dinner to avoid the impending storm that is supposed to hit the east coast. So far, we are just getting rain here on the south shore of Boston.
- Sleeping in. I'm thankful we didn't have to get up today with an alarm clock ringing at 5:30 a.m. It felt great to sleep until 7.
- Scripture. I'm thankful for God's Word. I can't imagine going a day without reading it.
- My sister-in-law. She married my husband's older brother. She and I have always gotten along. She is loads of fun and we always have a good time when we're together. I'm looking forward to spending some time this evening at her home and with us tomorrow at our Thanksgiving feast.
- My husband's story!! This morning we got the alert that Dave's latest short story has been published!! Granted, it's an online publication.....but still....!! Here is the link. Just click on the words in bold type and it should bring you to the story labeled The Clouds of Mt Olympus. If it doesn't come up, just scroll around the website. But it should come right up. It's a science fiction short story. I actually liked this one! (I don't often care for....or "get" his science fiction stories....I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi)
What are some things you are thankful for today??

I'm glad you got to your destination safely. It has been stormy so it is good that you left early. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family.
Kudos to Dave! Being published is awesome. Keep up the good work.
I love sleeping in, too. I often get up close to the same time anyway but it is the joy of it being my own decision and not because I "have" to get up!
My sister-in-law is one of my best friends, too. Sometimes the only ones who understand are part of the same family!
Congratulations! How exciting for Dave.
