"Even when the rainbow seems to pass right by me....I'm still finding Gold in the clouds....."

13 March 2024

I'm joining in today on this survery about the month of March.

1. Has March come in like a lion where you live? If not a lion then what animal would you use to describe the weather in your area this first week of March? A hybrid between a lamb and a lion..hahah.  Seriously, the first couple days were mild and sunny and then wham...rain storms, wind gusts, a dusting of snow and then more rain and wind. Now it's like early April and I'm loving it.

Does the weather affect your emotions? Not really.  Sometimes in January and February in years past when we've had lots of snow I've felt the whole "seasonal affective disorder" thing.  But now that I'm retired, I'm more at ease with the various weather changes. When did you last feel 'under the weather'? Not counting the daily headaches and back/neck issues, I haven't been actually sick since February 2023 when hubby and I both had covid.

2. Do you know what your name means? Yes:  Faith means trust; devotion.  Does the meaning of your name fit with your personality? It's been a journey and a hard name to live up to at times. Easier now that I'm centered on Christ.  Do you like your name? Love it but hate my middle name (Ellen)  If you have children, did you consider the meaning of their names before choosing them? Yes.  Courtney Elisabeth is named for the British side of the family (hubby's side) and her middle name is named after the Biblical Elisabeth and it's my mom's middle name. Courtney means "queenly" and trust me, she grew up thinking she was a princess.  Claire Rebekah was named for the French side of the family (my dad's side) and Rebekah is the Biblical spelling. Claire means shining star or bright; light and she was always in the spotlight...on stage from the time she was 4 and multiple times a year dancing through childhood and beyond.

3. It's National Sauce Month...what's your favorite sauce? Hm....Probably Honey Mustard on Chicken Last thing you ate that used a sauce? My homemade slow cooker sloppy joes with a chili sauce recipe I use. SO good.

4. Something you've seen, tasted, done lately that you'd describe as 'awesome sauce'? A close encounter with a heron.  Here is a pic:

.5. What kinds of things do you love to collect?

Mugs, Seaglass, Dragonfly jewelry

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Faith, your name fits you perfectly! You share your faith so beautifully and powerfully, I enjoyed hearing about your daughter's names as well. Names really are special and powerful! Like you, the weather doesn't bother me much - I try to find something beautiful in the day to focus on. I trust the Lord to send to us just what He thinks we need. Many blessings to you dear friend!
