Among Us

It was my morning Scripture  on Tuesday.

In the stillness of the morning.....in the sunlight with dust motes dancing and my coffee warming, I meditated........

and thought about how He walks WITH us.  He is among us...He is walking alongside us!!

He walks with us........in our crowded days, and our tossing-and-turning-because-of-doubts-and-fears nights........

He walks with our Believing children as they twist through those tempestuous teen years....

He walks with our twenty-somethings as they ponder life, values, beliefs, and college choices/career paths........and possibly mates........

He walks with us as we reflect on life........or loss..........or pain, suffering, death................through the joys, the heartaches, the struggles, the ease...........the sadness, the happiness, the discontent, the peaceful.........

He walks among us as we balance marriage, children, friendships, work, cooking, cleaning, gardening, reading, studying, ministering, serving, volunteering.............

He walks with us as we turn to the left......or to the right.......

He walks up the mountain and through the valleys..............

always beside us............

and always leading......

if we let Him.............

Yes, He is among us...........and we can know Him if are are still................

Faith, what a peaceful and calming post this is. Sometimes when I am hurrying around "Be still and know that I am God" comes to my mind and heart. That is all it takes for the peace to set in. Thank you for sharing this beautifully written post. I needed it TODAY! :) Hugs, Dianna

So thankful that He never leaves us nor forsakes us!

I love this. How often I forget that He is walking with me, always right here. I'm always in prayer no matter what I'm doing, always talking to Him, but to remember Him walking beside me is different. Thanks for this post :)
