Here is my list of things that make me smile........what are yours?
- fireworks at night
- my daughters playing and laughing together on the swingset
- my husband holding my hand during praise and worship in church
- eating s'mores at our backyard firepit
- watching the stars with my husband late at night in the chill of autumn
- kicking leaves on an autumn hike
- lying on the sandy shore with my husband
- watching my youngest play the piano
- watching my oldest play the violin
- watching my youngest in her ballet show every year
- reading my daughters' report cards
- watching H--k, the autistic boy I work with, practice his reading and spelling and being able to make eye contact with me......when he does, this truly makes my heart smile!
- the scent of my cornucopia candle
- the scent of my 8 year old's peach bubble bath
- watching my 8 year old twirl in the falling leaves
- having my husband rub my feet
- preparing my husbands lunch each day
- communion at my church....well, it gets me teary-eyed but it also makes my heart smile

yes--so precious--it is so neat to look everywhere, all the time, for things that cause us to raise our hearts in thanks. Blessings upon you!
my 9mth son...a little piece of heaven.
my man singing...he doesn't sing in tune but he sings with all his heart.
thunder and lightning...makes me want to sing how great is our God!
the sea...more of the LORD's majesty and mystery.
being on an old beat up bus in a little Pacific Island called Upolu, Samoa, with music blasting so loud, and the wind blowing in thru the windows...it reminds me of my small beginnings...my island home.
these things are making me smile now :-)
