"Even when the rainbow seems to pass right by me....I'm still finding Gold in the clouds....."

18 October 2007

It's Thursday already! The week has flown by. Was busy at school all a.m. but now am enjoying some time to my self before finishing up the housework for the day and waiting for my oldest to get off the bus. My list for today, of things I am most thankful for this week, are:
  1. a husband who has a generous spirit and is slow to anger
  2. my youngest daughter for her diligent practice of piano, making my job of homeschooling her on the instrument, a delight!
  3. my oldest daughter's smile and excellent progress report from school!
  4. for Google! because last evening, in realizing that my 3rd grader forgot her science notes to study for a quiz today, I had to search the internet for a venn diagram of moths and butterflies....praise the Lord for Google!
  5. for my church and new friends who really get the concept of grace, preferences, convictions and Biblical truth!
  6. for our drama ministry and the leaders who are pouring into the children's lives and helping them to use their gifts of singing, acting and dancing for the glory of God!
  7. for my 4 neighbors who are watching my 3rd grader get on the bus in the a.m.'s as I leave for my classroom the same time the bus is just arriving....what a blessing these 3 moms and 1 dad are to me....God is faithful!
  8. for the promises of I John 3: 1
  9. for my family who is willing to get up early on Sat and go climb a mountain with me with out (too much!) complaining.....our last mountain climb of the year!
  10. for faithful friends who are interceding for my pregnant sister who tends to have many days of morning sickness and.....for the privelage that we can carry our burdens to the Lord in prayer!
What are YOU thankful for today??

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. And thank you for your prayers. If it weren't for pray I wouldn't have been able to make it this past 1 1/2! I don't know a lot about Lyme disease, but I know it can act like arthritis. Are you better now?

I do Thursday 13, but on Friday's I am posting 1000 Blessing Friday's! I usually post ten a week, but I have SO much to be thankful for!

Have a great day and it was nice to "meet" you!

HI Amy: nice to "meet" you too! I like your blog alot. I am "better" (much in part to my former church family praying for me plus all the antibiotics) however, with Lyme there is alot of "residual" stuff, mainly joint aches from time to time. My knee is affected and upper back but I praise God because it is not a daily thing...it kinda goes along with my cycle and even then it is not every month. I will be back to visit you!

Susanne: thank you! It is good to remember to thank the Lord for all the blessings He bestows on us!
