"Even when the rainbow seems to pass right by me....I'm still finding Gold in the clouds....."

27 December 2007

I got this fromTheresa from Life as I Know It (see side bar label Christian blogs to browse). I liked reading her list so decided to do one, too!

I am: a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, teacher, mentor, Believer
I want: my children to know Jesus as their personal Savior even when they leave the nest, and to be safe always and always follow the Lord!
I have: a beautiful family and an awesome church!
I wish: for everyone I know and love to know the Redeemer
I hate: gossip and dishonesty
I miss: my friend from grad school, Chris...she is in heaven...but I sure do miss her!
I hear: my daughters' laughter as the oldest helps the youngest put together a Ferris Wheel lego set
I wonder: what my girls will be like when they grow up/what careers they choose, etc.
I dance: when my husband and I are at a party and there is good music for ballroom dancing!
I sing: to the radio and to my cd's and in church
I cry: in church, especially on Sundays when we take communion...it is so perfectly done there and the presence of God is so evident
I am not always: patient -- but I am working on it! (hurry up, Lord)
I make with my hands: food, scrapbooks/photo journals, cards, flower gardens
I journal: on this blog often, and in my personal journal about twice a year. In my daughters' journals every few months
I confuse: math problems....I sure do not get the quadratic(??) equations my oldest is working on for school....Math 10R?? I can't even do math 6th grade level!
I need: sunlight...often! and coffee every morning!
I should: clean out the basement office area or at least get my husband to help!
I start: hiking as soon as the spring insects are gone...as soon as June usually!
I finish: hiking to the end of a trail/summit and give God praise for the marvelous creation He has made for us humans to enjoy!

What a nice way to tell us about yourself. I enjoyed that, thanks. :~D

P.S. I need sunshine and coffee too... and I love flower gardens and hiking.

Yay for meme's. I love stuff like this. One, it gives you something to blog for a day and two, we get to know little things about one another.

I totally get the math thing. I used to love it and be very good at it, but what my kids bring home is beyond me!
