It is so nice here today! The temp said 53 when I drove past the bank after work.
Yeah....sunshine, no wind, snow is rapidly melting.
Look at the pic on side bar. It is from E-Mom over at Chrysallis as a "thank you" for being a part of Marriage Monday. For those of you who don't know about MM, scroll down my side bar and click on the Marriage Monday button.
Last evening's concert was great. We were blessed to hear the S----High School violins, 1 Chorus, the White Band, the World Percussion Group, a harpist, a cellist, a pianist, and a small jazz ensemble. It was fantastic! My daughter performed on violin. They did Pachelbel's Kanon in D. It was lovely.
So...around our house this weekend we are pretty much lying low.
My husband just left for the Youth for Christ retreat.
Courtney is attending a party tonite and one of the other mom's is bringing her home...yeah...I can stay in!
Claire and I are having "movie nite".
Tomorrow is Dress Rehearsal #2 for next week's musical at church. She will be at church from 9 a.m.- noon so that frees me up to do some Easter shopping. Courtney will be sleeping in! We were supposed to travel up to Lake George in the afternoon but that area of the mountains is supposed to get freezing rain/sleet so I have decided that it will be a good day to do some more early spring cleaning and get caught up on some reading and scrapbooking!
Sunday will bring church and then preparing a nice dinner for Dave who will be home in early afternoon.
Enjoy the weekend everyone.
