Here is my "treasure" for today: my 9 year old dancer, Claire! She is dressed in the HizKidzPraise! ministry tee-shirt and pants for opening nite of the show "Nic at Night" a musical about Nicodemus and what it means to be "born-again". The ministry/cast performed at all 3 weekend services. We know many people were touched and we know of at least one woman who accepted Jesus as Savior because of the show! Glory to God!
One of the musical dance numbers was "Born Again". There were 6 butterfly dancers. They started out as caterpillars. 1 for each side of the sanctuary/stage. Claire is the head of this one!
The caterpillars "danced" before lying down for the chrysallis stage part. After they got done, they emerged as: Beautiful Butterflies! (new creatures = new creation in Christ!)
Claire loves ballet and this ministry allows her to use her secular training for the Lord's glory!
The girls danced and sang while the cast and chorus sang in the background. This was one of the "hits" of the presentation. There are more pics but these were the ones I really wanted to share.

Does your hubby know of a site with a good typing test? My girls need to practice their secretrial skills and that was the one I found. If he does please let me know!
It's nice that Claire can use her ballet and dancing for the Lord! Your post has a line that is a little messed up but I think it says a woman accepted Christ that night. That's exciting!
Faith, this is fabulous and Claire is darling! I echo Amy's comment in saying that it is great Claire can use her talents to praise the Lord.

This is so sweet! I remember when my girls were little and did praise ballet. It was so fun and such a blessing. Thanks for stopping by 2nd cup.
Yes those caterpillars are CUTE! At first I didn't read the captions and thought Claire was in some kind of play about spring. But then when I read the whole post, I realized how awesome of a show that must have been! :) What a wonderful visual message on the redeeming power of Christ!. And I love the show name....Nic at Night!

Well that looks like it was a fun show! Kids are just so cute! What a good message too, and I am happy for the one that was born again! How exciting!
Yes the show went very well. The best performance was at the 11 a.m. service.
