Here's some specific things the Lord has blessed me with this week and which have helped to fill my tank:
- the power of praying friends. Even friends I have not met in person, but all of you from the blogosphere who left me such encouraging comments that you are keeping me in prayer....for you I am thankful!
- the Peace that passes all understanding. Even in the midst of turmoil, I sense the peace of the Lord....sometimes more prevalent than at other times, but it is there.
- the Psalms. When I don't have the mental energy to complete my Bible study or personal indepth study, I turn to the Psalms and the Lord always has something for me in those short, sweet verses. Sometimes that is all I can handle......
- my pastor's wife: for her email message to me that she is praying. I go to a huge church. She is busy. She took time out to reach out....this means alot to me. It has been rare in the past for me to experience this in a pastor's wife. The personal touch...for this I am thankful.
(and I just realized that my "thanks list" contains words that start with "p"....funny. Can ya tell I didn't get much sleep last nite?!)
what about you....what are you thankful for this week??
- and I am thankful for this special moment from God
what about you....what are you thankful for this week??

Hi Faith,
Cool paragraphs with P's!
What am I thankful for this week? I am thankful for marriage counselors! My daughter and her husband went for a first time marriage counseling session and we are encouraged! She sounded so happy when I spoke with her yesterday. I am praising God for potential emotional healing. They have a long way to go but I think they are heading in the right direction. :-)
Love the alliteration ... even if it was unintentional.
Still praying, dear Faith.
I am thankful for Summer Break and spending time with my boys with no school schedule to follow. We can sleep a little later and stay up later too.
I'm also glad my leg is feeling better so I can go Run..Jennifer...Run!!!
