I am finally in a routine again. Last week was crazy. And hard. Much better this week. It helped to have a reverant communion time in church yesterday, a time for quiet reflection and meditation, prayer with my hubby, and a great sermon!

It also helps that I am back in the Word after a few days away....my own fault really...in fact, our pastor's wife, Debbie, just posted something about giving the Lord time. Find it here.

Now that I am back to a routine, I have a weekly menu in place. Subject to change of course. I often switch things around....like tonite. Decided to do a different marinade for dinner.
Sometimes, I just ditch the day's plans and order take out or Dave picks up something after work if one of us calls the other that we have a craving for something! I have to be flexible around here especially during the school year...which is coming to a close!

If you see something here that doesn't have a link to a recipe under my "faithfixes" label, please feel free to email me, and I will send you the recipe or leave me a comment and I will post it!

I was meaning to try those Cobb Salad sandwiches and forgot. Now I've for sure got to try because my mouth is watering again.

Hi Susanne: Those sandwiches are delicious...my hubby isn't really a sandwich person and he loved them! they also are nice for company on a hot day. Enjoy!

Hi Faith!
I just looked at your recipe for the Cobb Salad sandwiches...unfortunately we would not be making them. L...doesn't like mayo, can't have bacon or ham for that matter...is on a low salt diet.
Thanks for sharing your summertime recipes!
I hope you are staying cool! :-)
