Monday Musings 3

FOR TODAY

Outside my Window...sky is overcast, temps are low but it's humid; more wildflowers are blooming in the trellis box; the peonies are past peak

I am thinking...it's almost time to go pick up Courtney and her friend Caroline from the high school as their French exam is just about done

I am thankful for...the youth leaders and staff at church

From the kitchen...Grilled Pineapple-Beef Kabobs, leftover Parmesan Orzo, Tossed Salad, Steamed Peas (dinner); Subway subs for lunch

I am creating...a scrapbook of my youngest daughter's Dance (ballet and tap) Shows including the HizKidz Praise! pics from church...this will be a summer project for me...goal is to be done by end of July

I am going...to the south part of MA this weekend to attend my niece's HS grad party (my husband's brother's daughter). We are leaving Sat and returning Sun. evening.

I am wearing...my work clothes:white cotton capris, turquoise/white crinkle tunic top, apricot polish on my toes and my silver anklet plus my gold and pearl heart necklace with matching earrings

I am reading...same books as last week (see sidebar reading list) plus a book about the Yu'pik tribe (to my 9 yr old at bedtime)

I am hoping...that Claire's half-day bus is on time so I am not late getting the older girl from the high school

I am hearing...a neighbor using a power drill and the hum of this computer...I also heard a blue jay as I pulled into the driveway 10 min. ago

Around the house...dishwasher needs to be emptied, family room needs to be vacuumed, and end of the school year papers need to be looked at and tossed or saved depending on what it is!

One of my favorite things...sweet tea!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...pack for our trip to MA, put the finishing touches on my nieces HS grad gift, send a card/money to a friend's son for his HS grad, go to DMV and register our camper, help my husband decide which state park we are camping at in August.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

what I will be doing on Thursday afternoon, weather permitting, at one of the lakes north of us...reading and relaxing on the beach while the girls swim!

Hi Faith, I posted mine too. I think I want to come for dinner tonight. The kabobs sound wonderful! My daughter asked last night if grilled pineapple was good and I said it was out of this world. I love it!

I hope you are having a wonderful start to a new week!
