Monday Musings 14

FOR TODAY

Outside my Window: bright, blue sky, sun and temps in the low 50's...supposed to climb to 60 tomorrow....yeah...very odd for NYS in Nov. but we'll take it!

I am thinking...on the sermon regarding Holiness that our pastor preached yesterday...it was one of the best sermons I've ever heard.

I am thankful for: my daughters...they bring much joy to my life

From the kitchen: it's "take out" (chicken wraps) tonite....Claire and I have to be at the church by 5:30 for her dance rehearsal and then from 6-7:30 is the actual all cast rehearsal...Courtney is eating out with friends to celebrate one friend's birthday...Dave is still in Pittsburgh and not due back until late tonite.

I am creating...a simpler home. Donating old items to charity, baby items to a pregnancy center, etc. We are getting rid of clutter or clothes never worn, etc.

I am going...to get my power walking done while the sun is still shining!

I am wearing...my work clothes: dressy black jeans, mustard yellow tunic top, black clogs with barefeet, black hoop earrings

I am reading...see my side bar

I am hoping: that my husband gets home before midnite tonite!

I am hearing...a neighbor's lawnmower, birds at the feeder, the wind rattling the shingles

Around the house...a load of laundry to finish, dishwasher to empty, newspaper to place in recycling bin and the weekly dinner menu to plan

One of my favorite things..power walking in late afternoon on a crisp autumn day

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: HizKidz Praise! rehearsal tonite; voting tomorrow a.m; movie date with my youngest and her friend Marissa and Marissa's mom Lynn who is also my friend!; food shopping with hubby who has a day off after we go vote!, hair appt later in week, shopping with my oldest daughter on Sat.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
Claire, age 9
Not sure what she was up to but look at those eyes!
Her big sister snapped this with her cell phone
This child has brought much laughter and fun into our home.
I thank the Lord for my "baby" girl!

Fun picture of Claire.

The weather here has been beautiful too, although they have snow forecast for tomorrow. We'll see if it really happens.
