Take Heart; Wait

"The Lord is my light and my salvation---
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life--
of whom shall I be afraid?

....for in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling;
He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.....

...wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

Psalm 27:1, 5b, 14

I have a long week ahead of me with parenting duties, a husband who will be going out of town all next weekend on a youth group retreat as one of the leaders, rehearsals, meetings, household stuff.

I will not be able to participate in Marriage Monday this month.......I will be back for that in November.

For those of you who have been following this blog since last spring, you know that several answers to prayer have occurred regarding friendships, past "emotional baggage" issues, and marriage issues. We are always dealing with "stuff" aren't we as Believers?

This week I am dealing with yet another layer of past "stuff", along with a friend of mine.....(D)...please keep D in your prayers as I try to find time to come alongside her and help her in an area where I, too, have had help.....I call this "paying it forward" like the movie....it is going to be a challenge for me because I am lacking the "faith" to do it (no pun intended!) and I know I cannot base my faith on feelings but....this is still an area of struggle for me! I covet your prayers!!

I will be back to blogging, hopefully, by Thursday!

Have a good start to the week!

How about calling it "praying it forward?" :) I will pray for you Faith! It is true as believers we are always growing, learning, and being molded into the woman God wants us to be......but sometimes it's hard!
