In just 2 weeks from today, I will be back at the beach house with the entire T----clan
celebrating Thanksgiving.......
In just one week from today, my youngest daughter will be performing in "Operation Christmas Child" that the HizKidzPraise! ministry of Grace Fellowship church will be doing. And yes...it is based on the famous shoebox ministry of Samaritan's Purse, headed by Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham. Can ya tell I have been writing out invitations???
Many thanks to Susanne from over here for hosting this fun meme each week.
Here are 4 favorite things from my week and 1 VERY favorite moment:

My absolute favorite thing from the last week
was giving my oldest daughter, Courtney, her first driving lesson!!!
Yes, I know I am a weird mom.
My husband thinks I'm crazy that I actually look forward to teaching her.
BUT.... I think of it as just another developmental milestone.
We all need to learn at some point, right??
So......last Sunday afternoon, while my other daughter was in her dance rehearsal,
Courtney and I drove around the church parking lot.
Keep in mind that our church is a mega-church.
Which means the lot is HUGE!!!!!
Which makes for a great place for 1st time drivers to practice.
The high school sometimes uses our lot as well.
Now: a free cup of coffee to the person
who discovers what is wrong in the picture!!!

This tea!
I am really a coffee addict as most of you know.
I almost never drink hot tea.
But.....last winter I discovered this flavor.
It is "african honeybush" and is wonderful.
I like it steaming hot in the early evening
when reading or watching tv with my husband. I stock up on it when I see it in stores because it is hard to find.
I usually only drink tea in the late autumn or winter.
So...it's perfect right now......
These little treat bags.I was cleaning out a closet last weekend
and came across these bags which were left over from a party.
I baked chocolate shortbread cookies for my family
and decided to treat a friend of mine and her family as well!
So....I stuffed the bags with wrapped cookies,
added the confetti (see below) and created mini pumpkin nametags.
This is not work to me.
Giving gifts is my love language
and I needed to fill my emotional tank!

ok....you saw this on Facebook right Jill?? I owe you a coffee!!
LOL. Someone beat me to it!
I think I lean a teensy bit more towards the way your hubby thinks about teaching teens to drive. I admit, I did find it a bit nerve wracking.
That tea sounds yummy!
Okay, I read about it on FB, but I remembered. That has to count for something, doesn't it? :)
Jill
