Today....Living Simply.....

A month has flown by since I last participated in the Simple Woman's Daybook.  This is a great exercise to get us thinking about living...simply living....and writing about our day.........hosted by Peggy from this site. Feel free to head over there and read her guidelines and join in!

Outside my window A few clouds with the early morning sun peeking through, chilly start to the day

I am thinking about the students I'll be teaching today...and their needs....

I am thankful that it is just a 4 day work week at school!

In the kitchen fresh grapefruit, cinnamon bread, Kashi Go Lean cereal, coffee

I am wearing my teaching clothes: black pants, white lace cami, red cardigan, black trouser socks, black flats, silver earrings, black and silver bracelet

I am creating  Easter cards!

I am going  to a local Christian bookstore while my daughter is in her first ballet class this evening

I am wondering  if it will be back up to the 60s for Easter Sunday

I am reading  Fresh-Brewed Life for spiritual refreshment and Never Knowing for fun

I am hoping  that the sun stays out all day!

I am looking forward to having my oldest girl home for the weekend!

I am learning  how to create a cookbook on my laptop

Around the house  things are picked up because it's a Tuesday...the day where I come home from work and then head back out to get Claire to her two ballet classes...there IS a load of towels to be folded in the dryer.....

I am pondering  about the sacrifice Jesus made for us

A favorite quote for today  is  "forgiveness is not a feeling;  it is a commitment."(Gary Chapman, from the Five Love Languages

One of my favorite things sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains

A few plans for the rest of the week: working, a trip to the backyard bird store, small group meeting, youth group for Claire and Dave, Courtney comes home for the Easter weekend, dinner with one of my younger sister's and her son on Sunday

A PICTURE THOUGHT TO SHARE WITH YOU:

Have a blessed Holy Week!!

I'm thankful it's a short week too. And I'm so excited to have my oldest girl home for Easter.

Very creative of you to make Easter cards.
