Taking time to savor some orchestral music composed by one of my college friends, Stephen Shewan, married to another college friend Ruth. Stephen's brother Paul Shewan was in my graduating class at RWC in Rochester, NY and is currently the Instrumental Music Chairman at our alma mater (Roberts Wesleyan College) and also conducts the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra, besides his role as Professor of Trumpet. He is also a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Stephen, the composer of "He Shall Wipe Away all Tears" that is linked below, teaches music and leads the bands at a public school outside Buffalo, NY. His wife Ruth is my online yoga instructor!
This music evokes a sense of peace and solitude.
You can find the orchestral piece here Elegy for String Orchestra
What are you taking time for this snowy Tuesday??

Oh what beautiful music. My husband and i have been discovering or rediscovering how much we love music since the pandemic. There is not much else to do so we have found ourselves watching more documentaries on musicians.
Such gorgeous music! I played a musical instrument from about 10 years old and developed a love for all kinds of music. Thanks for the link and the new link up!
You might want to link it to at My Corner of the World for a bit of exposure.
