2. Chocolate cake, chocolate milkshake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate truffle, chocolate mousse, chocolate candy bar or a fudgy chocolate brownie...of the chocolate treats listed, which one is your favorite? Which one have you tasted most recently? Or maybe you don't like chocolate???
Oh boy.....this one is tough. I LOVE chocolate. Seriously. The darker the better. The more pure (vegan) the better. From this list I'd have to choose my recipe for Chocoholic Brownies. My 2nd fave would be Chocolate mousse. My 3rd fave would be chocolate ice cream, soft serve mixed with coconut soft serve. I don't like or eat cake and I no longer eat candy bars although I used to love Snickers. I do sometimes eat an ounce of very dark (90% cocoa) chocolate with a glass of wine after dinner. And I make chocolate truffles at Christmas time.
3. What has surprised you recently?
The statement from my husband this morning about planning a trip to go north to the Lake Placid region sometime in October. Talk about a surprise! I was shocked.
4. September 19th is National Voter Registration Day in the US. Are you registered to vote in whatever state or country you happen to live in right now? If not, why not? Not counting a political race, what's something you've had to vote on recently?
Honestly, yes I'm registered to vote. But I dread 2024. We have no good choices for leadership in this country, do we??! Something I've had to vote on recently: where to go for our Small Group Bible Study's social outing. We voted last May and the event was in June. So nothing since then have I needed to vote for.
5. Do you like to hike? If so, when's the last time you went hiking and where'd ya go? If you're not a hiker are you a walker? Is walking (for exercise, etc.) part of your daily/weekly routine?
HAHAHHA do I hike??!! Well, check out my side bar. And yes, I hike. Weekly. I used to hike one mountain a week until 2022. Now I hike mountains mainly from August til mid-November. The last time I went hiking was last Thursday when I went to Stony Creek to hike on the Dean Farm Heritage trails, solo. Yes, I walk daily in my neighborhood...even on rainy days! I tend to power walk 5 days a week and the other 2 are more leisurely walks. I also walk on our town's bike trails and nature preserve trails.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
forgiveness towards people you used to respect is hard. But it's necessary. It doesn't mean you have to respect them again or even like them. You don't. It's ok to put boundaries around those relationships and it's ok to not even have a relationship with them any longer. But forgiveness is vital for our own physical and spiritual health.

Hi Faith. I agree with ou 100% about forgiveness. So true. Dark chocolate is also my favorite. Your planned trip to the Lake Placid region sounds fun. I also agree with about 2024 and our choices there. There is really no one I actually WANT to vote for. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!
