I'm participating in this meme which I discovered via Annie's blog. It's fun! And I was a HUGE fan of the Carpenters back in my late teens.
1. How do you feel about rainy days? Do they make you happy or sad? Do they always get you down? It depends on the season! I despise rainy days in November. It's downright depressing usually especially here in eastern/Capital Region of NY. Because it usually involves freezing pellets if late in the month. However, I LOVE spring and summer rain and we haven't had much this spring at all. It's kind of dry lately and my grass is beginning to show it. Rainy days typically make me contemplative, not happy or sad. Just contemplative.
2. How about Monday. Do they get you down or do you think that just might be a habit of negative thinking? I'm one of those weird special ed preK teachers (now retired as of last June!) who loved Mondays. I couldn't wait to read their notebooks and see what their weekends were like (if the parent(s) actually bothered to do this for me. I loved the fresh start. Now? it's just another day although now that I'm retired it tends to be the day where I do the bulk of my housework/grocery shopping. I loved that my own daughters were back in school and a routine even those days when they were little were SO crazy!! Mondays back then were usually schlepping one daughter to the barn for her riding lesson and the other one to the dance studio for tap and ballet and wow.....I was exhausted back then!! Now, Mondays are nice and easy.
3. Did you play in puddles as a kid? Or were you not the kind that liked getting wet and muddy? absolutely. we were always outdoors...me and my 3 younger sisters. My friends and I would often bike ride through the puddles to see who could get the wettest. Most of the time we did this barefoot. before we could re-enter my parents' home though we had to use the outside hose to wash off. Hahhaa. Sometimes it was SO cold!!
4. Are there foods/meals that you find especially comforting on stormy days? Nosy people want to know!! Depends on the storm! In the late autumn and winter storms our fave comfort foods are: veggie mac and cheese; stuffed pepper soup; chicken and rice casserole. In the spring and summer, our comfort foods are: homemade Mexican casserole (you need central air for these dishes if it's a day like today where the temp is climbing to 85 and it's only June 4th!!); slow cooker sloppy joes.
What fun questions! Play along!! I'll come visit while I wait for laundry to be done.

Hi Faith. Fun answers. I will participate if I get a few minutes this afternoon. Hope you are having a good day.
Happy memories! 😄
Hi Faith, I enjoyed your post. Your weather is hotter than us! Your food sounds really good. We make lots of soups and heavier meals in the winter. More salads in the summer.
So nice to meet you, Faith, as you visited my blog earlier (Closed Doors, Open Windows). And it sounds like you enjoy many things that I enjoy even though we live in different parts of the country. I'm glad we had the kind of childhood that allowed us to ride bikes in the puddles and walk in the rain...so many children today have no clue what it is like to play outside all day and enjoy a rainy day or fresh air and sunshine! Your comfort foods for stormy days all sound good too! Thank you for visiting and for participating in our Tuesday 4 group! Looking forward to getting better acquainted in the future.
WElcome! I liked your answers. I agree...I do not like rain in the winter months or late fall, but here in the PNW, that seems to be our norm.
Thanks for joining in! Welcome to Tuesday 4.. glad to have you.
Its fun to read everyone's answers and get to know how they feel about things. I really enjoyed visiting here today.
Great blog
