1. What's something you think is under appreciated. Explain.
I think there's several things that go under-appreciated but one is the person who cleans the church bathrooms. Our bathrooms are spotless and we are members of a very large "almost mega" church. We have about 500 people at the 9 AM service and about 1200 at the 11 AM one. And the women's rooms are always practically perfect. I believe this is an under appreciated job. I think most of us taking the cleaning crew for granted.
2. As winter approaches how do you stay productive?
I'm going to assume by productive you mean physically active?? Well, I'm retired so it's a lot easier now than it was 2 years ago. I would leave my classroom around 3 pm and by the time I was home, changed out of my teaching clothes and into work out clothes and maybe threw a load of laundry into the washer, it would be getting dark so power walking was tough. Nowadays: I stretch in the morning, take a brisk walk either before breakfast or mid-morning, and then do some other cardio workout in the late afternoon inside with a you tube video or another power walk. If you mean just in general: well, not much changes other than it's winter. I still do my volunteer work, lead a small group Bible study/book study, practice my French, practice piano, attend choir rehearsals and manage the home. I also take a class every week on Wednesday mornings and it often includes homework. We also host couples game nights more or just get together with friends for dinner more in the winter months. Of course here in the Northeast, we are outside much less as we are not skiers. This year I would like to try Snowshoeing. I haven't been on snowshoes since I was a child.
3. What's a popular food you don't like?
Sushi. I don't do raw. Unless it's fruits and veggies.
4. What do you think is more interesting-art or history? Elaborate.
I enjoy both but I think art is more interesting because there's always some element of history involved at least in the art museums I've been to (The Louvre, The Musee d'Orsay, The Vatican which included the Sistine Chapel!! swoon.....plus the Met Museum of Art in NYC, the Guggenheim, our local art galleries, The Clark in MA, the Museum of Art in Boston...we've been to so many...we love art here in our family and our oldest daughter majored in Art (and Math) at Gordon College in Boston so they girls grew up going to a plethora of art museums. There was also history involved. History is often told best through an art form whether it's music, the visual arts or dance.
5. What advice would you give to someone half your age?
Half of my age would be 32 so....I would say "Don't sweat the small stuff. Enjoy life, exercise every single day...as in move your body because motion is lotion.....hang with friends and keep in touch with family and ask the questions. Ask the family history questions. Keep a journal. Take care of your spiritual life/soul. Give generously. and make sure you're in a career you love. Hug your friends and family often!!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Golden beauty...God's Art is amazing

Hi Faith! This is a fun post and you answered each question very well. I completely agree with the advice you gave at the end. I hope your week is going well.
Hi Faith, you have been blessed to visit so many museums. You have a big church. There is one like that near me, but I go to one that is smaller. I think we get about 500 people. That is good advice!
I used to clean toilets for my job so I appreciated your answer to that question! Yes, I do appreciate a clean ladies room at church. I'll be the one to stick my foot in the trash bin to get all the paper towels down in it if I see it overflowing during services. LOL. I love the mix of art and history. Happy Hodgepodge!
