I'm joining Jerralea's Journey for a daily prayer and praise post for Thanksgiving. Feel free to join us!
I'm meditating on Joshua 1:9 today:
Dear God
Thank You. Thank You for giving me courage when I need it. Thank You that You are a God who is living and with us wherever we go. Thank You that you never leave us or forsake us.
When I am anxious and afraid of an outcome, You give me strength and confidence. I gain courage from meditating on the Truth of Your Word. When I'm dashing about in all directions, You give me guidance and are right beside me. I'm grateful for this... I praise You for never leaving me and I thank You for Your Word. Amen
And from Deuteronomy 31: 6
"The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
What Scripture helps you when you are fearful or discouraged?

This post was very encouraging, Faith! I always turn to Isaiah 49:16 and Lamentations 3:22 -23. They always make me feel more courage knowing He's got me and that He is faithful.
Love those scriptures and the assurance we wil never be forsaken by our Savior. Also ... gorgeous photo!
One of my favorite scriptures that has comforted me since childhood is "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee." Psalm 56:3 It's great to use as a breath prayer, also.
