GRATEFUL: DAY 24

TODAY, 24 NOVEMBER, MONDAY  I am most thankful for sunshine and warmer temps for traveling to Plymouth County, MA.  I am also thankful that the cooler is packed with the 18 lb turkey, and all the stuff we need to keep cold for 4 hours and that everything else fit into 5 bags (yes, it's our turn to cook....Dave will be cooking the turkey and making stuffing at his brother's house where we will all gather for the feast at 1 pm and I will be at my mother-in-law's making most of the sides in her kitchen (about a mile away) and schelping everything over to Peter's. Here are some scenes from last year. This year, Courtney is bringing her boyfriend Tyler.  Dave's youngest sister Paula, her husband Bobby, and her young adult "kids" Ronnie and Debi (and Debi's toddler boy Callun) will be staying in NH. Peter's oldest child, Adam is now a lawyer and can't get away from NM this year, and their daughter Beth and her hubby Pierre cannot leave their jobs this year (they're veterinarians and live out of state).

our niece Hanna (from Scotland) and Courtney, Claire

me with my sister in law Kathy who is married to Dave's brother Peter
and they are the ones who host the clan in their log home

Dave's oldest sister Karen from CA (Hanna's mom)
with Claire and Kyss our fave Bernese dog
I neglected to get a pic of Peter and Grammy (Betty, Dave's mom)
This year, Karen will have her boyfriend Ernest with us.

There will only be 11 of us for dinner this year!

Where do you gather for Thanksgiving? Will you be cooking the traditional feast?
