It's been a busy couple of days prepping for our week away as well as doing many errands in and around town.
Yesterday I was grateful to spend time with a new friend and choir member (and now hiking member!) on a new-to-us trail in a nature preserve up in the Eastern Adirondack mountains. We hiked for 4 miles and on the drive to and from, we shared about our husbands, children, upbringing, and careers. Here's a photo of the field where to the back right, the Woodland trail begins and goes up and over a steep ridge.

Today, 20 November, Thursday, I am grateful for a good night's sleep. I slept the entire night without needing to get up and use the bathroom or get water. This is a first in a long time! I slept from 11 pm-7 AM and never heard hubby's 5:30 alarm nor heard him in the shower! I'm grateful for good sleep.
What about you? Have you spent any time outside in the last 2 days? We've had a glorious week of sunshine and temps in the 30s-40s. It's been wonderful for outdoor tasks and walks, or hikes.
Do you usually wake up in the middle of the night or do you sleep the entire night through?
