We found this one at CreativeGene. It's designed inspire "happy thoughts on a frigid January day." Obviously temperatures vary based on locale, but it's a lovely sentiment, so let's go.

1. Snuggling on the couch with hubby under warm quilts
2. Hot steaming mugs of coffee. Note the plural.
3. Books
4. My daughters' visits and phone calls
5. mountains
6. sitting next to a mountain lake
7. my wooden Adirondack chair
8. my closest friends who do life with me
9. letters from far away friends and family
10. playing Beethoven or singing good choral music
and staying inside during a snow storm

Great list. I especially agree with the friends one. Having people who can "do life" with you is amazing.
We had 12 people in church choir today, about half the normal count, bc of the impending snowstorm, but we muddled thru somehow.

I really enjoy reading your lists like this — they always make me smile.
Number two made me laugh: mugs (plural!) with coffee — same here. I can never get enough of them, preferably with warm, full milk.
Mountains at number five sound wonderful, even though I can’t really imagine them — I’ve never seen a mountain in real life.
Letters from far-away friends and family really resonate with me too. There’s something very special about that kind of connection.
And yes, staying inside when it snows sounds like the best plan. Listening to Beethoven, or maybe singing along to something beautiful — with plenty of coffee, of course. How is it now over there?
