S is for SAVIOR

I'm late getting to the letter S because I was gone from about 9:15 AM until 4:30 PM leading a hike in the lower high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains and when I got home I had to shower, change, clean up the backpack, deal with the hydration pack, and start chopping veggies for dinner. So now that I have just  cleaned up the kitchen at 7:45, I can sit for a bit with a hot cup of tea and work on the letter S.

I'm making my way through the writing challenge by writing about the various attributes of God so today S is for Savior!

God sent His Son Jesus to be the Savior of the world. This was prophesied so many thousands of years before He was born here on earth in the little town of Bethlehem  by the prophet Isaiah.

THIS is the reason we celebrate Christmas!

One of my fave Scriptures says He came to seek and save the lost.

He saves us from the darkness of this world....from the Evil one (Satan).....He saves our soul when we believe, confess and turn away from sin.  We can live eternally because He has saved us!
