Embraced by Him!

Don't you just love getting hugs from your children? or your neices/nephews if you don't have children? It is just so precious to me when they wrap their arms around me....just to express their affection and love. I don't need to do anything and they don't expect it. Isn't God the Father like that? He rejoices over us! He Loves us! He longs to wrap His Arms around us and allow us to embrace Him. Even in the midst of trials, disappointments, stress, brokenness and sin, He still wants to love on us. We need to come to Him when we do sin and allow the cleansing blood of Jesus to wash us and renew us. We need to run to the Father when life brings trouble our way and....life will! Life is a struggle. We do not always have it easy. Maybe you are in the midst of brokenness or stress right now. Maybe you are in the midst of an easy time. Whatever life has brought you today, rejoice in the promise found in Zephaniah that God will quiet you with His Love (you need to let Him!) and He will rejoice over you with singing!
