Well, this is what my front yard looks like this a.m.! (we have snow but it is warm and slushy so should be gone by afternoon....one can hope!)It is about 7:30, my husband left for work 45 min ago and my teen is sleeping in. My 9 yr. old is playing a computer game before I make her some muffins for breakfast. We are home today due to a teacher conference day. Yeah....another Friday off.
And I praise God for this because we have a busy weekend coming up! This is the weekend that Claire gets her room makeover! Which means today will be spent removing everything from the walls, push the desk and dresser to another room and slap the wallpaper sizing on the walls. Our contractor will be here tomorrow morning at 9. An added blessing is that Claire has been invited to a sleepover party for tonite which means she won't have to sleep in the basement!
I'll be back Monday if all goes well this weekend.
A couple of friends were recently asking me why I chose the name "Gold in the Clouds". If you are less than 40 years old you have probably never heard of the Christian group "2nd Chapter of Acts" so...here is where you can find the reason for the blog title.

Have fun with the reno! We were supposed to get snow but so far it's just cold and grey.
Good luck with the room makeover this weekend. I love '2nd Chapter of Acts'. I would like to say "And, no I'm not over 40 years old!" But, alas, I must admit that just isn't the case. :)
