So...to celebrate, head out for a late brunch, early lunch or evening supper to your local diner....most likely it is family-owned and operated....give them the business rather than your tacky, chain restaurant! (the prices are usually more reasonable for a family of 4 and the food is usually way better with more choices!)
Have fun!

You know I don't think we have one diner in our city. I don't think they are as popular around Alberta as they are in the States.
Our family goes to a local restaurant once a week. The owner is always sure to stop by our table to thank us for coming. We do love going out for breakfast on Sundays, I sometimes wonder if it is wrong to patronize on sundays... because I wish they could all be church-goers too. It is the time of the week when we are all together and able to meet together.
hi Connie Marie:
We go out to lunch often on Sundays. We consider it to be a part of our Sabbath! We love our local diner....and in our area, there are so many churches with multiple weekend services that even if a person had to work on Sunday a.m.'s, they can usually attend a different service.
Thanks for stopping by!
