I woke up with this hymn in my mind.....it is one of the more traditional hymns, written by William Bradbury in 1863. We do a modern version of it sometimes at church, which I love. I love the old hymns. The Lord speaks to people through music and the words of this song always bring me much encouragement.....who better to place our hope in than Jesus, our Solid Rock??My Hope is Built

Our church worship does many, many choruses, and I miss the hymns!
I love this hymn. I can sing it all by heart.
We have a nice mix of hymns and contemporary worship music at our church, for which I'm grateful.
