Today, Monday, April 7th, is known as.....

No Housework Day!

No chores. No guilt. Let your dishes sit for a day and your laundry pile up. Just make sure to do something worthwhile with all your found time!

Hm....I found this on the daily holidays website.

However, because my youngest and I took our Sabbath on Saturday and went to Lake George to visit my youngest (pregnant!) sister and my niece, we did no housework on Saturday other than to toss in a load of laundry. SO......

Although it is National No Housework Day, I did have to change the sheets on Claire's bed this a.m. before work and then as soon as I eat lunch I need to toss in a load of the girls' clothing and head over to Target for household supplies....but....

I think I will take the rest of the day off and just cook dinner, power walk and putter in the flower bed....gotta get that old mulch raked up.....and gardening beats housework any day!!

AND....because it is 60 degrees outside at 11:35 a.m. I can get out Claire's bike and clean it off, pump up the tires and she will be so happy to be able to ride outdoors after homework today.....yeah....spring has sprung here in the capital region...it's about time!

What are YOU going to do today??

oops...I just remembered it is also Marriage Monday...I have my notes all set and will try to post either later tonite or tomorrow after my lunch date!

Haaa! Is that your husband in the photo??? So funny.

National no housework day? Where did you find out about that? I think I'll take you up on the idea. (Oh, except I have some ironing I MUST do.)

BTW, looking forward to reading your Marriage Monday post, when it's up.

Hello to all my readers:
NO that is not my husband.....but what a concept huh? A man using a vacuum? (well, mine will get the kirby out when he works in the basement..he is very good about that!) I thought this "holiday" was a hoot!
