We have a busy weekend coming up so I won't be blogging for a couple of days.

Today I need to shlep the girls over to Office Max and/or Radio Shack to get new ear buds for Courtney's ipod. Of course she wants them in pink. And her daddy told her she could get them. I thought we weren't going to spend $$ on unnecessary items. He pointed out to me that an ipod to a teen is a necessary item. (sigh).

Then we need to drop off movies and books at the library.
Courtney has a teen leadership meeting for 2 hours at the church after dinner.
Dave has to work on the camper. My car will be the taxi again.

Saturday a.m. bright and early (and believe me, this church always starts on time!!) at 9, I have a parent volunteer mtg for the drama/dance camp with HizKidz Praise! Ministry at the church. I am meeting my friend Lynn there with our daytimers so we can find a playdate time for our 2 9 yr olds to get together next week. Dave has to get the camper inspected assuming that he fixes it tonite.

Right after the mtg, Dave and I and the girls are driving to south shore of MA to stay with his parents. His brother's youngest child (our niece) gradauted from high school and is having her party on Sunday. I did a theme gift: a pop up laundry hamper/basket and stuffed it with towels, washcloth, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, a bleach pen, and a jar filled with quarters. Hey...college kids need to do their own laundry!!

On Sunday late afternoon we have to drive back here to NYS because first thing Monday a.m. Courtney has to be in her guidance counselor's office at the H.S. to register for her summer course. It is "first come first served" for getting Health during period 1 at 8 a.m.
Which I need her to do because beginning Mon. at 9 a.m. Claire has her first swimming class at the town pool.

And...Monday my hubby Dave and I celebrate 18 years of wedded bliss. Well, it's been bliss some of the time! :) So...we don't even know if we are going out that evening....we usually do something really fun....but....he has to work. We'll see. Lots of our fave restaurants aren't open on Mondays so we might just get a bottle of wine, bread, cheese, fruit and have a picnic somewhere...and then bike or play mini golf. Depends on the weather!

Yes, my life is busy again....and I just got out of work.....good grief...I am supposed to be on vacation for 10 weeks. I never signed up for being a taxi service when I decided to have children! It's what we moms in suburbia do though, huh?? (how come our district can't provide summer bussing to the high school???!!)
