NATIONAL BOMB POP DAY!
Remember these?
My oldest daughter, when she was about ages 4-6, would clamor for one of these every evening when the ice cream truck would "ding-a-ling" throughout our neighborhood enticing all children to beg for change. She is now almost 15 and getting bomb pops is no longer cool (no pun intended!).
My 9 yr old still clamors for something from the truck but it is usually for something chocolate. Prices have gone way up......we limit this activity to once a week (or less).
SO....if you hear the ice cream guy or gal in your neighborhood tonite.....dig out the change and splurge on a Bomb Pop!

My kids liked those too! We rarely get the ice cream bike around here. But every once in a while we hear the old bells going.
