Music Camp!

Starting today, Monday, my daughters and I will be at the HizKidz Praise! Ministry Music Camp at our church from 8 -3 every day, ending the week with the performance of AmeriKids on Friday evening!

This will be the 2nd camp that HizKidz has done, and our first as a family.
(last year we were at the beach house while it was going on).

I am blessed to be a part of this ministry. The director expects excellence and she gets it. They incorporate daily devotions, a Bible lesson, memorizing of Scriptures (each day has a Bible memory verse), arts and crafts, lunch, recreation time, and rehearsals. We will be busy but it is the work of the Lord.
Our hope and prayer is that the sanctuary will be filled on Friday evening with people who need to hear the Good News!
We charge no admission and it is open to the public.

I am helping to teach the 1st grade team.
My youngest is in the 3rd grade team.
My oldest, after I pick her up from class (I thank the Lord that our high school is just a couple of blocks away from the church!) will be a teen volunteer with the middle school team.
We have 97 children registered for camp; about half of them have actual roles in the show and we have 50 volunteers serving this week! (including a team of teen volunteers!). All 97 children will be in the show but only about half have acting, dancing or singing roles. (they had to audition). This is a huge turn-out!
God is so good to us.

Enjoy your week...I won't be blogging much as will be gone from the house most of the day and when I am home I still have to manage my home, yard, etc.
