Updates

Well, our first HizKidz Praise! Music Camp at church was a huge success.
The performance of AmeriKids went really well last nite.
All 95 children performed.
Claire danced in 3 dances as well as sang in the choir and she was exhausted by the end of the evening.
We had about 500 people there in the audience and Claire's dance (ballet) teachers came!
They loved it!! This was their 2nd HizKidz Praise! show they have come to see.

Seeds are being planted which is what the director had prayed for! God is good!!

Now, we are tired from the week long camp but....we need to move on to other things.
Next week it is my teen's turn for some attention. She will be going to SoulFest with 11 other senior high teens from youth group. My husband will be driving the church bus and leaving on Wed. Courtney and I (and of course, Claire) will be leaving right after Courtney's class on Thursday.
SoulFest is actually held at Gunstock Mt Resort in Gilford, NH.
Claire and I are staying in a hotel on Weirs Beach.
Life::redefined (our youth group) will be staying at the Pine Hollow Campground in Laconia (close to Gilford, I am told) with the youth group leaders who are going.

So...today my husband got all the camping gear ready that we are donating to this trip.
I just hope it all comes back as we are gonna need it for our own camping trip in mid-August for our own private family vacation!

I did some housework, delivered my first Avon orders, did paperwork/banking, organized the kitchen and cooked dinner. I am tired!

Courtney did her packing and made her list of snack foods she needs me to buy.

Claire just rested after her big nite and finished a novel she had been reading.

We are lying low as we all are tired and need to gear up for SoulFest.

As for me...I'll be happy to sit on the beach with a novel, swim with Claire in the lake and enjoy going out to dinner every nite. Friday, we will all see The Newsboys!!

Around our house....we are in much need of a Sabbath....that is tomorrow!

What about you? What are your plans for the rest of this weekend?

I hope you have a very nice break at the beach, and dinner out every night! I hope it all goes splendidly :-) My weekend went too fast. With my husband commuting to work over one hr each way our weekends together are enjoyed to the fullest... today we spent all day outside enjoying the very rare sunshine. We've been getting rain for weeks now! With Mom here too our days just fly by!
