Daybook for April 13th

FOR TODAY~ April 13, 2009
Outside my window...full sun, blue skies, chilly wind, birds at feeder!

I am thinking...about all the things I want to accomplish this week of Spring Break

I am thankful for...the awesome Easter service we had at Grace Fellowship yesterday morning. Great music, a beautiful worship dance to the song "I Will Rise" by Chris Tomlin, to a fantastic sermon on Grace and Truth, Part 4 complete with video testimony. Glory to God!

From the kitchen...for dinner: chicken and veggie pasta

I am wearing...jeans and a cream/orange V-neck cotton-ramie sweater, wool sox, gold earrings

I am creating...a dinner menu for the week & a grocery list plus my "to-do" list to help keep me on track with my spring cleaning!

I am reading...for pleasure: The Gate House by Nelson DeMille,(a faveauthor), for study: a women of Faith book on the topic of purpose, in the Bible: finishing up the book of Acts, and a hiking book for our vacation to Acadia. For specifics see the sidebar!

I am hoping...that the temps will rise above 55 this week so we can get the deck floor painted!

I am hearing...my oldest daughter playing her Taylor Swift cd and my youngest daughter playing Sims Pets on the other computer plus the spin cycle on the washer!

Around the house...laundry, spring cleaning the dining room and family room, working out on the Wii Fit, organizing the foyer closet.

One of my favorite things...worshipping at my church on Easter Sunday a.m.!
