See that beach chair on the ocean's edge??
That's where I'll be from tonite until next Wed a.m.!
At our family beach house on Cape Cod (actually Buzzards Bay but for anyone who resides west of the Berkshire Mtns., it is called the Cape!)
so....a blogging break is happening again......usually in the summer I have scads of time to blog and browse others' blogs.
This July has been crazy what with our Acadia vacation and then the HizKidz stuff and personal stuff going on....so....
My husband decided a week at the beach house was just what we all needed.
and the cool thing is: we get to go back the beginning of Sept for an extended Labor Day weekend visit.....with some awesome friends.....
GOD IS GOOD! I LOVE summer and plan on soaking up tons of sun...the weather forecast for the cape is alot better than for here in NYS....we have had some nice days but not nearly enough like in summers past...hopefully August will bring less humidity and more dry, sunny days!

How fun! I really miss the summer we used to spend at the beach.. for our family it was Maine though... Drake's Island to be exact. Love the ocean♥

BTW, we will be at Ausable Chasm next Mon and Tues, and in Hague on Wed. and Thurs. We are planning to hike Cascade on Thurs. Let me know if there is anyway we can get together??????
