Five Faves

It's Friday again!
This will be my last Friday Fave Five until the week that school starts......because in one week from today I will be entertaining friends and my immediate family at the beach house on Cape Cod for one final "hoorah" of summer vacation! So...next Friday morning I will be enjoying coffee on the deck overlooking Buzzards Bay and getting ready to kayak with my good friend and maybe our daughters!

My good friend, Rachael.
She lives in the town where I grew up (Central NY)
and joined us for our family BBQ. She IS like one of the family
and she is best friends with my younger sister Hope. She also is a great friend to my daughters....
they think she is so much fun! (she is!) And she brought me my very fave dressing
cause she knows how much I love it!

I took them to Glimmerglass State Park in Cooperstown, NY.
For those of you who know the author, James Fenimore Cooper
("The Last of the Mohicans", among others....)
this area was his home for many years.
The girls had a fun afternoon
swimming and creating this masterpiece from sand and seaweed.
It was fun to watch and listen to them......
I didn't get much reading done!
