1. Which is worse: a long, boring meeting or standing in a return/exchange line after Christmas?
Well, in my opinion they are both annoying. But I'd pick the exchange of gifts because I despise waiting in long lines and I hate returning gifts.....I find it very aggravating! Thank the Lord I rarely have to do that!!
2. Except for maybe Rosie O'Donnell or Ann Coulter, nobody likes confrontation, yet we all have to deal with it. When you feel cornered and defensive, do you "bite back" or become passive aggressive?
I tend to either ignore it or "bite back" depending on what the confrontation is about. My mouth has often gotten me in trouble before. and I bet "gotten" is not a word....argh....
3. Do you know anything about your genealogical background? (What country, culture, ties to prominent historical figures, or other stuff.)
I have French, German, Dutch, and Native American roots. can't remember which Native American tribe. My husband has much more interesting roots: his great x 8 uncle came over on Mayflower and great x 8 grandfather came over on the Speedwell. The T----- clan is famous (or infamous, depending on which anecdote you're listening to!) in the Plymouth/Cape Cod region!
4. What is the quickest way a person can endear him/herself to you?
Show themselves to be honest, "real", patient, trustworthy, and meet my love language! (gifts and physical touch)
5. Cake, pie, cookies, or ice cream? (Note there is no "all of the above" option. You must choose one. Feel free to elaborate on flavor or memories tied to this dessert.) If you'd like, you can share a recipe, but you certainly don't have to.
This was easy. I am not a cake or pie person (unless it's peach pie from a certain local bakery) and cookies I can take or leave. I LOVE LOVE LOVE ice cream. Fave flavor is Bittersweet Sinphony by Perry's or Vienna Mocha Chunk by Friendly's or Chocolate/Coffee from Stewarts. Love maple walnut too and one of my fave memories is getting a large maple walnut cone at a place in the Adirondacks when I was a kid and my dad letting my sisters and I ride in the back of his pick-up truck on the way back to our camp, licking those cones and trying not to get our wind-whipped hair in the ice cream :)
6. Females: Do you regularly change your handbag to coordinate with your outfit?
Absolutely...especially in the autumn/winter seasons.
7. Are you task-oriented or relationship-oriented?
It really depends! sometimes I am very task-oriented and was usually this way growing up. Recently, as in the last 15 years, I am much more relationship-oriented.
8. IHOP, Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel?
From these choices, I would have to choose IHOP. I LOVE eating breakfast out. any time of day! But my absolute fave place to eat is at The Windmill Restaurant in a small town north-west of where I live.
9. Have you ever left a movie in progress in a theater? Why?
I honestly don't remember. but I think I did once in my college years.
10. What is one area of life in which you would like to develop more discipline or organization?
Spending quality time with close friends. I don't do this nearly enough. I tend to FB or text and my goal for this school year is to actually have more time for and with my closest friends. This also includes having people over more as my husband and I love to entertain but rarely do it these days......there are several couples we have neglected and I know it will take better organization on my part! Also, I'd like to improve my personal prayer time.....and do more prayer journaling.....
11. Was middle school fun or painful?
Well, I went to junior high (7th and 8th grades) and there were good times and painful times. I think that is true of most junior high teens!
12. What is your favorite Fall beverage?
Cold, crisp cider or French Vanilla coffee with a cinnamon stick swirled into it.
If you want to play, see 2nd Cup of Coffee to link up.

Hi-
jumped over from 2nd cup...I saw your Acadia picture on your sidebar..my husband and I were just there last week. Such a beautiful spot...I was ready to buy a house in Bar Harbor. We just loved it.
Funny how some people say middle school and some say junior high.

Great asnwers. Glad you joined in this week.
Faith, Love getting to know you more through these. They are great!
i love breakfast any time of day too. I prefer IHOP. I am not task oriented really. I like getting tasks done. But I buildings relationships more. Coffee is still my favorite beverage year round. But, I just tried the mocha at McDonalds and I will have to say it is exceptionally good. I would say even as better than Starbucks.
Have a great week,
Christy
