Infused with Light.....

Snow.....fresh-fallen.  Cold...yet infused with light.....bright shining sun....

It seems as though Spring is never gonna get here.  Yet it will.  God has set the world in motion and He created us to enjoy four seasons....well, at least here in the Northeastern United States! I do enjoy each and every season, but I do confess that Winter is my least favorite.  But then again, "winter" often reminds me of my soul in its darkest days......there were so many.....and just like Spring returns to earth in all its glory, so too does your soul return to light, peace, and joy when you allow the Savior to redeem you.  Here's what I've been thinking on these last few days of my winter vacation.  I hope you find encouragement in these words that God has put on my heart and into my journaling....Jesus has met me this week.....in journaling and reflection....thoughts of friendships and forgiveness, stress and service, memories and mom-moments.  I hope to share on all these things in the coming week.  

Taking Time to Reflect as I sit and gaze at branches that look like this......

reminded that we are washed clean.....our hearts are as white as fresh-fallen snow.....when we repent of sins.....and give them over to the Savior.....allowing His Purity to cleanse us....and make us whole.....like the snow that is slowly dripping from the trees today, His blood dripped from the Cross.....for us.....to give us new life.....He is Life.....Everlasting....

 Clear, cold, waters....of a powerful, rushing river......are we allowing the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit to rush over us???  Are we taking the time to let that power infuse us?

 

long, narrow roads......often walking in the shadows....yet....the light is there...all around us....like the Light of His Love....always before us....leading the way...through a dark spot sometimes yet we always get to the other side....staying the course...on the long, narrow road...that leads to Him....and Peace......

reflecting on the Redeemer...the Prince of Peace...who brings us to New Life.....and warms our souls......with His Light.....
