Time to reflect back on the week and find those 5 things that were special! Thank you to Susanne for continuing to give us an opportunity to look for those things and to link up and read others' faves. Click here for more info and to join in!
- FRESH VEGGIES! This week I splurged on some fresh veggies, that at this time of year, are pricey. But we were all craving some fresh pea-pods and the tiny peppers. YUM! they tasted so good, raw, in our pasta salad and the next day, in our lunches. I also had extra red pepper and some fresh red onion for a spinach salad.

- FRESH BODY GEL AND LOTION I discovered a new Burt's Bee product from their GUD line. The one I bought (from Target) is the Orange Petalooza. It has blood oranges and hyacinth in it. It smells heavenly and of an early summer day. There are NO parabens, petrochemicals, nor phthalates. Which is very important to me! And they don't test on animals! The lotion goes on thick and creamy and is perfect for dry, winter skin. And the shower gel really wakes up my senses in the shower! So fresh and clean......and hydrating!!

- FRESH POINTE SHOES No, not for me. For the ballerina, a.k.a Claire. Both of her ballet instructors told me that her pointe shoes were no longer working for her and to get ones with a softer shank. Thank the Lord the dance store lady knows about pointe shoes. I was clueless. (the proprietor of the shop used to dance with the NYC Ballet during the summers, about 40 years ago!). At any rate, we had an early morning appointment last Saturday and one hour later, after trying on 9 pairs of shoes, she found the "right" ones. And I gulped. They were ALOT more money than I expected. A.lot.more. But....they sure are fresh, clean and oh so pretty on her delicate feet! I love watching her dance!

- Fresh Evening. What do I mean by this?? Well, on Tuesday evening it was so mild and calm outside, it felt, smelled, and looked like early April. It reminded me of a fresh, spring evening! I met Dave for a mini-dinner date at Panera and we enjoyed a fresh cup of soup, a half sandwich and some fruit before I headed to the library to browse while Claire was in her ballet classes. That hour with Dave for an early dinner and then browsing the library was so refreshing! and the mild weather was an added bonus!
- FRESH SHEETS! There is nothing like sliding into bed at night after putting fresh sheets on the bed. Since our weekend was so much warmer than the previous weekend, I took off the flannel sheets and put on crisp, white cotton sheets. They felt so good!

I enjoyed reading your list. I like fresh stuff, too :). I love the picture of your daughter's feet (perfect arch).
Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a blessed weekend in the Lord!
I am absolutely with you on the fresh sheets. Love them. If I didn't have to do all that laundry I'd want to change them every other day. LOL.
Yay for the new pointes for Claire.
We've been into fresh veggies too. So good and needed at this time of year.
fresh veggies for the tummy, and fresh sheets for the body...doesn't get much better than that!
Here's to a week ahead FILLED with favorite things!!
I'm with you on the fresh theme, and I agree, there is nothing like a good night's sleep with crisp fresh sheet on the bed! Blood oranges and hyacinth sounds like a wonderful perfume. Too bad the brand is not for sale here in Belgium. I hope your weekend ahead is as wonderful as the week that has passed!
Mmmm, fresh veggies, fresh (flannel for me) sheets and refreshing dinner at Panera--those would be at the top of my list too.
Have a great weekend.
The fresh veggies sound good! I am craving a good crisp salad. I love fresh sheets too. Especially after hanging on the clothesline in the sun all day. I miss that. Hurray for a dinner date with Dave. Panera is a good restaurant. Only been there that one time with you and Trisha.
Have a good week!
What a great list! The mild weather had me feeling fresh this week, too.
That body wash sounds fantastic. I love citrus smells.
I'm glad you found the perfect shoes for Claire. I just had to buy a lot of "fresh" mixed martial arts equipment. My bank account cried.
I hope you have another wonderful week.

Love your fresh theme, Faith. Makes me think of Spring with all its fresh buds turning into blooms.
I bought fresh veggies this week too. Only diff is, I put mine into a cabbage soup. Very yummy and comforting food.
Your daughter is blessed to have parents who support her passion, Love the photo.
Thanks for your comforting words (about Chip). They helped.
