A SIMPLY MILD DAY!

I'm participating in the Simple Woman's Daybook since it's the first of the month!

Head over to Peggy's at The Simple Woman to read more, join in and link up.

Outside my window the weather is mild, the sun is glorious in this late afternoon and there's a pretty blue sky

I am thinking about which veggies to serve with our chicken parmesan

I am thankful for my husband's prayers

In the kitchen  there are 3 parmesan and marinara sauce stuffed chicken breasts I picked up from The Fresh Market for dinner....plus I made a tossed salad and am probably going to steam some broccoli and cauliflower.

I am wearing my work clothes: black skinny pants, pink sweater, black sox, pink flower necklace and pink drop earrings

I am creating  a photobook from the summer of 2009

I am going  to take my 13 yr old to her pointe class this evening

I am wondering  what tomorrow's weather will be like

I am reading   Silver Girl...see side bar

I am hoping  that the pain in my right foot goes away soon!

I am looking forward to  curling up on the couch later tonite to watch a new program with my husband

I am learning  how to photo edit

Around the house  laundry is in dryer, dishwasher has been emptied, recyling and garbage are out by road, mail has been looked over, grocery list prepped

I am pondering  over the sermon from yesterday about giving and receiving

A favorite quote for today  is "Experience:  that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God, do you learn." by C.S. Lewis

One of my favorite things is hugging my 13 year old daughter

A few plans for the rest of the week: besides working at the school,  working on the next chapter/Scriptures for next week's small group meeting, baking special treats for Valentine's Day, a possible trip to an art gallery on Saturday, and movie night with my 13 yr old and husband on Friday evening.

A PICTURE THOUGHT TO SHARE WITH YOU:

I had a chicken parmesan hoagie for supper. But no veggies with it. :-) I'm sure your meal was very delicious.

I wish I knew more about photo editing. My daughter knows a lot but we both lack the patience for her to teach me.

Love the C.S. Lewis quote. So true!

I've bought quite a few pairs of pointe shoes through the years. Hope your daughter enjoys it as much as mine has.

Dinner sounds wonderful! Mind if I join you? Your weather sound like everyone elses! I wish we would have winter. We are going to have a serious tick/bug problem this spring and summer! excellent quote! I only wish MY experience would be good enough for my daughters! My toes hurt just looking at that photo! Have a great week!

Yum, chicken parm!! My husband makes a yummy ck parm! Hope you enjoyed.

Sounds like you looked cute that day : )

Silver Bar...hmm I'll have to check it out. I did put "The Lantern" on hold at my library (none in Herkimer but Frankfort had so I should get this week)

Sounds like you have a great week planned!!

Oh and I don't think I'd be able to EVER stand on my toes : (

Mmmmm, the supper sounds yummy!

Photo editing is fun when you find a program you like. My favorite online one, Picnik, is shutting down in April. I'm so sad. Haven't found anything I really like to replace it yet.

Hope your foot feels better soon!
